Shelby, Montana- seeking a BC/BE non invasive corn on interventional cardiology Physician. Full time or part time position available, Monday through Friday schedule, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits. Successful candidate will join a group of family medicine, behavioral health, podiatry, and dentistry group. Physician will help group build a cardiology program for a rural region. Physician will provide services at the Shelby weekly, Conrad weekly, Valier monthly, Sunburst monthly locations. Excellent growth opportunity. Experienced Physician preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply. Ideal candidate will be self driven, motivated, enjoy outdoor lifestyle, comfortable with small town life. Mix of outpatient cardiology clinic care, inpatient consult, and echo supervision/ reader responsibilities. No call – No weekends.
The facility is a private nonprofit federally qualified health center. They collaborate with other small facilities and regional centers. The facility is serviced by fixed wing and helicopter from both great falls and Kalispell. The outpatient clinic is attached to a critical access hospital and a skilled nursing facility. This opportunity is a new start program that is seeking a provider that can offer leadership and guidance.
Shelby is located on the rocky mountain front, near the Canadian border, 1 hour from glacier national park, and travel to great falls are Kalispell is easily available. The Rocky Mountains offer great hunting, hiking, fishing, and recreation. There are numerous lakes nearby that allow fishing, skiing, sailing, camping, swimming, 18 hole golf course and recreation. The community has Amtrak train service travel through 2 times per day. The community consists of farming, ranching, transportation, oil and gas, and is considered the crossroads.
